An Update on Tom (#2)

Hey again. Here's the word from Tom's mom as of this evening.

"Just came back from spending time with Tom. He came to the regular ward at 5:00. He was pretty much out of it all evening. He answered questions but his speech was thick. His left side is weak... reminds me of a stroke patient. The surgeon and resident were very positive with how the surgery had gone and hopeful that he will be seizure free. The weakness  will hopefully go away but time will tell. It's hard to see him like this and they are telling us that things might be worse tomorrow. Appreciate your prayers.

Then in the midst of this Phil and Nicole (Tom's brother and sister-in-law) had their baby this afternoon...a boy, 6 lbs 11 oz. named Titus William Bietz. We were texting back and forth and calling each other."
